No start

I have a 2000 Mercury Grand
Marquis when it wont crank
unless I put my hand in the air
intake tube and it pops when I
mash the accelerator and cuts off
immediately what do I do

Sounds like you r losing ignition.. how u can test that turn ur key to the on precision n try to locate ur starter n bring a screwdriver with you n try to hit that lil wire n big wire together n let me know what u get
