99 grand marquis problems with battery draining when messing with my radio

I had just bought a jvc head unit
withat the adapters for my make
model and year car. My car had
ran perfectly and everything but
when I had taken my radio out my
horn, my interior lights, the remote
for the lock and unlock just stoped
working so the next day I jump
started the car and let it run for 10
min. And still no problems. Then
when I strated to plug in the new
radio it's like all my battery got
drained of all power and it's a new
battery. I got the correct adapters
and everything.  Need help for
opinion on what's wrong with my
car

I've got to give you some kind of prize for coming up with a tough one! Correct adapters or not, I'd take them out, put the stock radio back, and see what happens. As long as you didn't work on or unplug something else. Also, you could measure the drain on the battery with a multi-tester, and a cable disconnected.does the clock work?

The clock does not work that's the reason for the replacement of my radio but I think it was my anti- theft system and it thinks so moment stole my radio so it will drain the battery. So the next day I took the battery out then un plug and put in my new radio and my problem was solved. Thank you for the great response
