Additional information - The draw (0.6-0.7 amps) was reduced to about 100ma when fuse number 3 in the power distribution box was removed. The car has the am/fm radio with the tape player but does not have a cd changer or a subwoofer amplifier. With the fuse out, the battery is staying charged and the car starts easily. There is no clock in the radio. Would the station presets or other memory in the radio stay on and create such a current draw? Is the only solution to replace the radio or is there something else on that circuit that may be the problem?
