can be multiple things water pump hoses have leeks radiator leeks or engine seal leeks head gasket check the coolant level drain the coolant through the radiator check the colour if its dark in colour etc if like a black ish colour its old or oils getting in to in so needs checking out use water and wash through the system before refilling with new coolant get some new coolant and say rad weld or leek stop fluid found in most motor shops try that if not go to a garage as then to look over water pumps / pipes / radiator only other reason it over heat is if the head gasket seal or some has gone but only a garage might help
