ac condenser fan

i have a 2004 town car that when im moving ac works great but when stopped
ac not as cold the condenser fan run but not at high speed anyone had the
same problem ?

It's likely the electric cooling fan. When they start to go, they draw more electricity and blow the high speed and low speed fan control relays/fuses. A stop gap measure is to replace the relay/fuses (until the fan blows them again) , but the fan (part) is about 120.00 and a good investment if it hasn't been replaced yet. If you're handy, it's not that hard to replace and takes about 1/2 an hour. If not, a mobile mechanic will have no problem with it. The relays should be replaced at the same time and are about $30, give or take. They just plug into a relay box under the hood. As soon as one of the relay blows, the AC gets warmer because the fan isn't cooling it enough. When replaced, the AC gets nice and cold again and doesn't blow warm at idle or when parked.
