Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Would a weak battery keep me from getting in my
trunk? I tried the button inside ,the key outside, and
the panel on the door .

Yes it can, but the key should still work.

Yes, a weak battery keeps all these attempts from working. The truck lock is actuated by an electric solenoid no matter what key you turn or button you push. Just open the hood (manual latch there) and charge the battery then try again. It probably doesn't run real good with a dead battery. I hope this helps.
