Asked by Mar 24, 2017 at 09:15 AM about the 2003 Lincoln Town Car Cartier

Question type: General

Car keys were stolen and had to call a locksmith.
Tried making several keys with chip and would not
work. Locksmith erased the key that came with the
car when I bought it.(mechanical key) Car still says
1 key's still programmed. Now none of the keys
work, any suggestions

You'll have to get it to the dealer for repair, reprogramming.

Contact a local model dealer (i.e. Ford, Mazda, Lincoln). They can get you a new key using the VIN number. It may be a little expensive, but the only way
