wiper wont work

i went and bout a new switch and swapped them out and it still doesent work. all it does is click when it gets to the high position

Was the wiper motor checked to see if it works? A control circuit board usually goes out. Some are replaceable, some are not and the motor would need to be replaced. Also check to see if power is getting to the wiper motor. There is a relay you can try changing.
