i never  changed  spark plugs 2001 lincoln tc. do you have   a thought

Take a look at the throttle body. They get dirty and like to stick at first blip of the throttle. Plugs would be a good idea to change you gotta have some miles on that thing

There is part (I forget exactly what it is, a sensor or something like that) that gets clogged and either has to be cleaned or replaced. When my 05 had that problem we decided to replace it rather than clean it. It eventually clogged up again but took quite a while. If I get time I will look through my receipts and see if I can find out what part that was. I have a lot of receipts so its will take a while.

I checked my receipts but the only service I could determine that fixed the problem was desludging the throttle body. the shop replaced a couple of things along with that but I couldn't determine what they actually replaced. Hope you have problem cleared up my now.
