2000 Lincoln Town car stereo issue

I recently installed a new car stereo in my
car while installing it I had blown a fuse it
sounded like the car try to turn over via one
of the wires for the stereo I replace the fuse
unplug the battery and finished installing a
stereo when I was done the stereo won't turn
on and the dimmer for my speedometer
won't either
