best spark plugs to use??

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

it's got 117,000 miles on the engine/car, not sure if the previous owner did plugs, but I think I want to, just wondering which plugs were best, regular, platinum, iridium?? anyone have any idea?

NGK iridiums are great. 8 will run you around $70

Your best bet is the OEM Motorcraft plugs that the vehicle originally came with mine lasted 200,000 miles no problem

    Ok i bought some plugs at a great deal the only concern im having is they have a thread depth of 19mm my car calls for 17.5 mm is there any concern if i install them
