It bothers me that my radiator don't have a cap and I do everything through
the reservoir. I know with drilling cusomizing brackets, I can make a different
one work but I want to know if anyone knows of one that can fit my Lincoln
with the least amount of work to do.
If you really want to do this a radiator shop might be your best bet.
I've seen a lot of your posts on this site and you seem to know a lot about cars. If anyone can figure this out, I'm confident you can. My question is: If Lincoln thought a cap-less radiator is good for the car, why would you want to modify this; especially on a car that's served well for a quarter century? Having modified a lot of cars in my youth, I understand the need to tinker, but what will this gain you? If you REALLY want to do this, just have a radiator shop add a cap to your radiator; It's not hard.
