94 Lincoln Town car

My car had broke down and when it did, I was
driving and heard a thud like knock noise under my
feet so I put the car in park it wouldn't start back
up. What could be the problem.

Like 200 plus and it's sounds regular no knocking noise no clicking sound like it's real close to starting but won't get the extra kick and another like when I jump my battery it goes dead like after three attempt to crank
