Could be any number of things. You have to become a good detective with these cars. She starts up. So your getting air, fuel, compression and spark. Have you noticed any changes in how she ran up to this point? Will it start right back up, does it sit there and crank? I would advise you to do a diagnostic test and check for codes. I have a 94 that Im fixing up with 136,000. It started running rough and hesitating. Note: My CEL light did NOT come on, but discovered I had some trouble codes when I did the test. 1st was a 116 no voltage detected at coolant temp sensor. I checked the terminal at the sensor & plug and they were corroded. I cleaned them off plugged back in. The 116 code went away but THEN the CEL came on and threw a 118 indicating a problem with the sensor itself. I bought a new one and barely made it home with it. I had to make a quick stop and the car would not start back up until after 6 tries. I Put the new one in and the issue is gone and no CEL. I would do a computer diagnostic. A simple thing like a Coolant Temp sensor AND or bad connection can throw EVERYTHING off and leave you stranded. It was only like 20 bucks, saved alot of money doing it myself. There are also "Throttle Position sensor and Crank Position sensor can ruin your day too. Do the test though and dont throw random money and parts at it. Check and clean your connections. Take a day and and go through them all for good measure. The alternator plug too, everything. Check all your vacuum lines also. Good luck, keep me posted. :)

Check the two vacuum hoses on top the engine that go to the idler sensor
