what would cause it to blow white smoke out of exhaust

i was considreing buying a a4 but after i started it it started to pour out white smoke and the oil light came on is it worth buying and fixing

likley not it means coolant is getting into the cylinders, or turbo, if it is turbo, im not familiar with audis. could be something more drastic with the engine as well. i would most definitely avoid it
