I know it is obvious but I have told people that who later responded that putting gas in their car fixed their "problem". LOL

Gas tank was 3/8 full before hitting the bump in the road. After gauge and light came on, I drove another fifty miles back to my home and car continued to run smoothly. This happened previously about a month ago. When I went to check the car the next morning, it all worked correctly but not this time.

After answering questions on this forum for a couple of years I have realized that some people really are that clueless - my gas gauge is on empty and my car won't start - what do I do?
