Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The battery cap cover on one side of my LS400 fell
down into the bottom of the engine. I cannot
retrieve it.  Is this dangerous?

If it's the terminal cover not a problem. If its the actual battery cell cover it could be such as splashing liquid.

The liquid (water) inside the battery turns to acid so, if it is the battery cell cover, plug or cover the filling holes until you get a new cell cap.
