Why is my battery light on if I replace the battery
and alternator both new

The light tells you that your charging system is not working. Typically, it is either the battery, the alternator, or the serpentine belt that turns the alternator. Check your belt for proper tension and insure it is not slipping as your engine speed increases beyond idle speed.
