where can i sell my lexus gs 300 with a bad transmission

Transmission is going bad. Otherwise, it's in pristine condition. Has 104,000.

what year is it? it's a tough sell, if someone is willing to buy it in that condition, don't expect much for it. trannies aren't cheap.

'06. Have read some Lexus forums, and there was a mag that said it could be my ECU...that's what my mechanic said it was all along. He test drove it, did research, and the symptoms were spot on. That takes 3K off of the misdiagnosed tranny repair, as the ECU controls the engine, tranny and electric issues. I can still drive it, looks beautiful, and having a hell of a time parting w/it. Ugh!

Junkers are best sold on Craig's list or donate it to a charity. You might be money ahead to donate - check with your tax people.
