1998 lexus gs300 automatic transmission badly leaking
so i have been working on a 1998 lexus gs300 and just did all the general
maintenance on it and now first day driving it after all the work it wouldn't barley
move and there is transmission fluid all over the ground and i just topped it off
yesterday and now its completely empty what could be the cause to this leak?
Get under the car, look around the transmission and find it. Maybe a gasket. Maybe a cracked casing.
i looked under the car and its leaking right at where the engine and transmission meet
Sounds like it's the input shaft or torque converter seal and it's unusual that it would fail suddenly. It might have a pressure problem. Tow it to a transmission shop to have it checked out.
ok quick question would the car still move if the trans had no fluid in it?
