When I start my lexus it idles around 1000 as it
heats up it continues to rise to almost 3000 I
changed the tps and it still idles that way what can
I do to fix this?
Check the wires at the connector to the TPS by gently pulling on them, if a wire is broken, the wire would stretch some, then the wiring connector would have to be replaced. Also check for vacuum leaks.
Thank you for that. But I took off the air tube to the tb and it started to Idle better the min I put the tube back on it shot the idle right back up. Could it be the mass air flow sensor needing cleaned?
Yes, could be needing a cleaning, or replaced. Make sure and use MAF spray cleaner to clean it with.
Thanks will do when I get that done ill let you know how and what its doing
I appreciate that...
