2004 lexus es330 245k miles tranny problems??

it runs like butter but i was told the transmission had a "leak in a line going
towards the back" ??? we never see any trans fluid, it had a light skip but
hasn't skipped since i changed the dry rotted hoses and gas cap. any idea if
the guy was lying? other then trying to figure that out the car dosnt give me
any other issues.

alright if the transmission is slipping it can happen again if not serviced immediately each time it slips is potential danger. Not all leaks are bad either, I would see what another mechanic says, but in the same sense if it is just a little seep it will adhere to dirt on the vehicle and it will look wet. If you replaced the lines make sure everything is done right. Transmissions are a tricky thing after 200k miles
