The ABS light came on only when dealer checked codes with a generic code reader??

Asked by CandyCatLover Oct 23, 2017 at 09:56 PM about the 2000 Lexus ES 300 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently my Check Engine & Trac off light came on. We were far from home so
continued driving. After battery unhook for couple of hours, lights were off.
Both came on again later. Toyota used a generic code reader; these two
showed and ALSO NOW the "ABS" light (that was not showing before). Can
you please let me know what I should do? Thank you.
