Car won't start

I have a 96 es300 Lexus . Sometimes
it won't start right away.. I hear a
click sound , but it won't start .. After
a few back and forth turns of the key
it'll start.. I'm thinking ignition switch
or starter about to go.. How do I
know for sure what the problem is..

My 300es lexus wont start my lights go on the dash but it starts clicks when i turn the egnition what shold i do.
