I was checking fuses to see if they were the cause of the problem with a window and a dome light out.

Now after putting the fuses back the engine light just mysteriously lights up and won't go off. The fuse that seemed to trip it was the one I took out and the dash went black when I put it back in that is when the eng. light went on. What do I do?

you may have a bad fuse or a bad wire that may be shorting out. or try unhoking your ground wire from your battery and letting it sit for 5 or ten minutes to reset the computer. hope this helps you. MatMcKinnon

I had my airbags replaced and the entire dash board of my car replaced. When I put my car in the shop there was nothing wrong with my car before I put it in the shop. Now in less then a week after getting my car out of the shop my VSC light and check engine light came on and will not go off. Does the repairs have anything to do with these lights coming on?
