2006 Cherokee all dashboard light flicker then go off. No gauges work no A/C or turn signals. Stopped and restarted and gauges work and everything is fine although the check engine light might be on however it goes off eventually. What is wrong?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The dashboard would flicker and the engine grinded.  It lasted only  a few minutes and then no gauges would work, no A/C, no turn signals.  Jeep would still drive. Would stop the jeep and start it up and usually everything works except the check engine light would be on.  After a few more starts the check engine light would be off.  Sounds like an electrical issue?

No, my Jeep is currently at shop it’s NOT a battery issue , Jeep said possible cluster issue , bad ground wire somewhere in dash .... I’m still waiting to hear back that they fixed it
