Will my airbag deploy with the airbag warning light illuminated?
The seat belt light in my Jeep was not
registering that the seat belt was plugged in,
so itconstantly dinged and never stopped
while I was driving, even with the seat belt
plugged in. So to fix, I thought it’d be ok to
snip the wire leading to the belt buckle. But
after doing this, the seat belt light went off but
the airbag warning light came on. I figured it
would be two different systems and the airbag
wouldn’t be connected to the seat. But now I
am concerned that the airbag won’t deploy if
something were to happen. Can anyone help
me out here?
