My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee check gauges
notification came on when I looked at my dash
bored the coolant level had been closer to the H but
once I turned my a/c on it went back to normal
what does that mean ???
Main engine cooling fan is not operating is the usual cause.
The "Main Cooling Fan"" works on a switch in the radiator, but when you turn on A/C the fan is over ridden, and runs continuously, so the fact the temperature goes down isn't a surprise; rather it's telling me the "Fan Thermo Switch" is failing, or failed. When you replace it (because I don't know the history of your car) flush the cooling system too!
"check gauges" means some thing is out of the ordinary
