2005 jeep overheating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced heater core...thermostat and water pump. Still
wants to overheat . In traffic ...better on freeway. Any
suggestions?

When refilling the cooling system was it purged from air pockets? And check to make sure the fan is turning on.
