Throttle body position sensor

Asked by Jillian Oct 25, 2016 at 11:45 AM about the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the throttle body position sensor
and my jeep is still losing power. Can't push
accelerator to the mat and won't do
anything. The lightening bolt flashes and if I
stop and restart it will sometimes run great
and other times it won't? Help??

I would say bring the car to a good parts store like Auto Zone (Free)and see if any codes are coming up on the jeep. I having a feeling it might be a bad EGR valve but I like to see if any codes are coming up, good luck.
