Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have an 04 grand cherokee laredo (l6). My
CEL came on about a week ago (p1281) and
saturday night the radiator cracked. I
replaced the radiator, thermostat, and water
pump all about 3 weeks ago. i also replaced
the radiator fan relays yesterday and the fan
STILL doesnt come on and causes it to
overheat (according to the gauge). Anyone
have any idea what might be causing this?
Im running out of ideas at this point

Can you turn AC on and radiator fan come on?If not, then you may need to check the fan motor,s or wiring to it for fire,to rule out fan motors,

And sometimes, a faulty tempretue sending unit will cause fans not to cut on when car is heated up,but should come on when AC is on.

i havent tried the AC yet but i did connect the fan wiring to the battery and it still didnt come on. im guessing at this point it's not any sensors or motors it's the fan itself that needs replacing?
