Sounds like it could be the lock up torque converter not disengaging sometimes. Low hydraulic pressure or fluid aeration, or bad seal rings on the torque converter can cause this problem. Especially if you have the 545RFE transmission. Which you probably do. Also there were some bad filter kits (transmission) out there on the market. The 545RFE has two transmission filters internally. One is a spin on and the other a traditional pan filter. The pan filter uses a seal in the transmission housing to prevent it from sucking air since it's above the pan fluid. The spin on filter has a plastic threaded filter and those can crack as well as the filter housing can crack. These did cause problems. Hopefully that the problem. A cheap fix actually.
