Problem with 3-bulb taillight assembly

Although I replaced both the light bulb and socket, the taillight still does not work.  Both
the brake light and back up lights are operating properly.  Any ideas?

Theres 3 little metal things that the socket have on them to match up with ones in the tailight component the ones in tailight component maybe fried or bent mine where bent/broken
