hello!!!....i have a 2002 Grand Cherokee
Limited 4.7L.....my check engine light came
on, so i conducted a self-diagnostic test and
the test revealed a p0161 code.......i was
advised to replace the "bank 2/sensor 2" O2
sensor......i replaced the "bank 2/sensor 2"
O2 sensor....i now have the p0158 code
appearing in addition to the existing p0161
code......what should i do now?
if you have replaced the parts causing the errors simply disconnect the battery (just one terminal will do) for a minute it will clear the computer. reconnect the battery and start your jeep's engine and see if the codes return with the flow of power. i should add it might take a few minutes, if the codes do not return they are fixed. then again if they do return just get back to me and i will help you -RTBBilly
