I replaced the radiator/fan in my 2001 Jeep and now my A/C blows hot air?

My 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee needed to have the radiator replaced so My
dad offered to fix it. He replaced it along with sensor and now the A/C blows
hot air? Did he somehow let all the Freon out?

It's possible, but Check to see if the fan is blowing the correct way. I am not familiar with this particular model but thermo fans can mount on either side of the radiator. If someone was to mount the fan one the wrong side of the radiator it would blow against the direction of travel and that would drastically reduce airflow stopping the condenser working as the vehicle increases speed. Quick fix would be swapping the positive and negative wires to the fan to reverse the direction of the fan. Just a thought, good luck! Evan. Auto Electrician 30 years.

Removing the radiator often requires the removal of the condenser. The Freon may have been lost doing that. Hook up your gauges and take a reading. Or look see, if the compressor does not kick on, then the Freon is low. Not to worry, this model, completely empty of "Freon" takes only two 14 ounce cans of 134a (Freon) to refill. Your Dad only owes you about $20.
