Asked by Mar 29, 2017 at 06:38 AM about the 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I noticed yesterday that my Jeep started running hot. It's
not done that since I had the water pump changed. I did
notice that it was doing it when I would run the A/C. What
would be causing this?

May be the fan is not kicking into high, not spinning fast enough. Check the radiator fan.

Make sure you purged the cooling system from trapped air also. This will cause an overheat condition also.
