My 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee won't start I just
replaced the alternator but it still wont start
without a jump when I do try to start it no light go
on and the arms on my gauges on the dashboard
just go back and forth please help
is the voltage regulator part of the alternator or is it a separate unit on this vehicle?

scan for codes even if the light ain't on , if the batt. is no good that should be replaced or fully charged , a new alternator doesn't like charging a dead batt. right off the rip either , if you have any doubts about the person working on your car don't let them
