Question type: Maintenance & Repair

None of my windows work from any of the switches and the drivers side door does not
lock or unlock unless i do it manually.  The electric locks work from the passenger side
but not the drivers side.  nothing on the whole driversside panel works.  what is the most
likely situation and can I fix it myself?  thanks!

im not sure this explains why the windows do not work from any of the switches. there is absolutely no way to roll down the windows. Also the dome light does not turn on when the drivers door is open. its almost as if the car doesn't realize the driversside door at all. need to fix this week so any help is appreciated

all the windows are tied into the driver side, check the ground between the door and the vehicle inside the boot. This happened on mine not that long ago and after i fixed that wire my windows worked again and locks, however the dome light i havent figured out yet, and my driver door wont lock electronically. still looking into those.

I had similar issues. all windows worked when driver door was closed, but did not worked when driver door was open. removed the rubber boot to find out the black wire and an orange with white stripe were broken. made a splice using crimping connectors and everything is working fine.
