Jeep Overheating

I noticed my jeep said low coolant the other day so I went
out a bought so a day later. The low coolant signal went
off but my car is still overheating. I just got a new water
pump earlier this year so I’m not sure why it’s still trying to
over heat.

Check your coolant level in the morning while the vehicle is cold. Remove the radiator cap and visually check level. If you coolant level goes to low the temp won't register because there is no coolant contacting the sensor. Then it will overheat unexpectedly usually at freeway speeds. If you have the 4.7 aluminum head engine that spells disaster for your engine. You could have another leak even though the water pump was replaced. There are heater hoses and freeze plugs also that can leak. Good luck.
