interior dash lights do not stay on while driving. no rhyme or reason could this be a bad dash switch?

Dash lights at times will dim and then again go bright. By jiggling the switch on the dash
the lights will sometimes stay on bright but most of the time they are dim.

If you get a result by jiggling the switch you probably have a bad contact in the switch, Replace it.
