Ground or hot
Follow the cable down into the engine compartment. If any of the wires bolts to something metal, like the fender or engine block, it's the ground (-) cable. But if it bolts to the starter or the underhood fuse box, it's the positive (+) cable. HTH. -Jim
K I follow 2 of 4 wires looks like it goes to ecm on right side of fire wall not sure still if hot or ground
Where do the other 2 wires go? With the red stripe on one of the wires it's probably the hot cable. Emphasis on "probably"! HTH. -Jim
Judging by this diagram I'd have to say that cable is the positive (+) cable. You're looking at item #1 on the diagram. That's the positive (+) cable. See how there's more than 1 wire coming off the terminal? The ground (-) cable only has the 1 wire on it. HTH. -Jim
Ok guys just want to thank you for your time, I found those wires needed to hook up to the engine as a ground
Awesome!! Glad you figured it out!! Thank you for the best answer click!! -Jim
