96 Jeep Gran Cherokee help!!!

Asked by Donald Jul 12, 2018 at 07:53 PM about the 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so I have a 96 cherokee with 110k miles and
the other day I come home to my gf saying the car
was smoking, I pulled up the hood and noticed the
belt came off and was trashed so I replaced it
started the jeep up and headed to the store, now
the jeep starts smoking up by the radiator and
starts cutting off, theres no sign of smoke from the
tail and the oil is fine, thought it might be a coolant
leak but it's not losing coolant, any ideas??

Identify the smoke. Is it burning rubber (belt) or steam (coolant) or blue burning oil.
