Have a 95' Jeep Grand Cherokee and the "Service 4WD switch" keeps going off on the display panel. What is the issue?

The Service 4WD switch keeps going off on the display panel. Not using 4wd at the time
and just randomly will indicate.

mine has been the same way but it works perfectly fine. Most Grand cherokees after sitting a while have the problem that the shifter will get stuck and not work. But after playing with it for a while it moves great. As long as it continues to work i say just leave it be.
