steering problem

when i get to 40mph or more my front driver tire starts shaking bad. when i apply the
brake it helps some but it dont stop until the vehicle slows down. whats going on?

Probably a loose lower ball joint, same thing happened to me in my old car.

Bad bearings, out of round or out of balance tire. Bent wheel, car out of alignment.
