no cranking situation

my 1994 jeep laredo 6 cyl 2 wheel drive wont crank...i replaced the ignition switch and cleaned the ground and battery connections checked the wires but it still wont crank....can anyone help me with this problem...i heard it might be related to the security system??

the reason it may not crank is because the starter may be burnt out or the gear that spins the fly wheel is frozen.

No crank or no start? There is a big difference. If you have the factory key, go to the passenger side lock and lock and unlock the door with the key three times. After doing this then try to start it.

it is possible it is the security system, you might have to mess with the key in order for it to start. mine is right under the steering column but they vary on location. or even check the wiring for it
