2003 Santa Fe making noise despite repairs?

My right bearing was recently replaced, but there's still a terrible grinding noise
when I brake, although my brakes were "fine" as per my mechanic. There's a
high pitched noise any time I drive, which gets louder when I drive slower, and
higher pitched when I drive faster. My right front tire is nearly bald, though the
rest of my tires are in great shape. Any ideas?

Your new bearing could be bad. You would not be the first person to have a brand new bearing go bad soon after installation. The noises you describe sound a lot like the dirt/debris guard may be bent and rubbing against the disk or drum. As to the bad grinding, your brake pads could be fine, and it sounds like your ABS is kicking in, assuming you DO have ABS brakes. If you have them & if they are kicking in, you probably have a bad speed sensor or cracked ring on one of the front axles.
