Anyone able to suggest a good place to look for an engine on Long Island NY for a 2003 Hyundai Santa fe and also how long appx does it take to remove and install an engine? Tks all! Susanna

you could probably get a junkyard wrencher to do the job for $450 per day...probably two day job with fluids and systems checked~

the guys who take cars apart to put the pieces in racks, such as the air conditioning compressor, the steering box...ECU...all organized on shelves...these guys know how to take them apart....you're going to ask them to put one together....cheaper than your local guy...probably~ just call one of the junkyard disassemblers...they are there~

bet they've got skads of these too---probably would want you to spend some money there in addition to doing the reconstruction for you~

if you're able to save the transmission is like FOUR bolts that hold it to the tranny, plus the electrical sensors TPS and chassis connnections~
