1. Mechanic can't pull codes due to error when trying to read. 2. ABS light comes on occasionally. 3. Tachometer is way off and the temp gauge is dead. I plan on getting the cluster repaired.

Have you replaced the fuse for the OBD? That could be why it isn't reading. Those are known for IP/Cluster problems, it certainly wouldn't surprise me if hat was the source of your troubles.

I'll check that out! I forgot to mention the airbag light is on as well.

I replaced fuse and the tach is working!!! The coolant warning came on after a few second of cold start. I turned engine off and fan motor noise did not stopped for a few minutes even though engine could have not been hot. The "fan"sounded as if the motor hummed but did not sound like a fan moving air (to quiet).

I replaced the coolant temperature sensor and all appears well! Now on to the airbag light! Thanks for your time!
