I replaced my relay a month ago thought I solved
the problem now my fuel pump does not hum

Did you check the fuse? Did you check for power at the pump or are you guessing? Maybe you need a new pump.

GOOD ANSWER ABOUT THE PUMP....BUT YES RUN A TEST LIGHT OR A BUZZER TO THE PUMP ITSELF WIGGLE BANG KEY ON...IF THERE IS POWER THEN ITS THE FUEL PUMP

My fuse is good relay is clicking on turn key and I replaced my old pump with a used pump out of a buddy's car . (fuel pump was dusty) I was hoping it would work but didn't still no humming. Faulty fuel pump again? I jus need some ease of mind ill have money for a new one this week but need to know what are the chances of it jus being the pump or something else 166000 miles 01 s4 QUATTRRO THANKS IN ADVANCE

Use a multi-meter to test for power at the tank. Everything else is just flailing around.
