steering and suspension

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a gmc yukon xl and when we got it
handled like new. One of the hub bearings
has starting going out and I've begun to
notice the steering seems loose. I looked
behind the tires and noticed that one of the
rubber spacer type thing is almost
completely gone and that the tires are
starting to wearout on the inside tread.
Would that bearing and the rubber spacer
cause all that to happen

You most likely have more than just those going out, tie rods are a big concern here as you stated the steering feels loose, idler arm, steering box, then there's is the tire wear, could be a bad control arm or bushings, you did mention a rubber spacer that could be a bushing as you did not include a picture. Best thing to do is to take it to a alignment shop and get it checked out, if some of the things I have mentioned are bad then it is not going to be an inexpensive fix.
